Aqua Jetty named the best in WA
Royal Life Saving WA congratulates Aqua Jetty Swim School, which was recently recognised as WA’s best at AUSTSWIM’s Soak It Up Conference at the University of Western Australia.
Aqua Jetty, which has been a Royal Life Saving Endorsed Swim School for the past eight years, took home the AUSTSWIM Recognised Swim Centre Award ahead of five other finalists in their category including Cockburn Arc, Seastarz Swim School, HBF Stadium, Bruce Rock Amateur Swimming Club and Jump Port Kennedy.
As a State award recipient Aqua Jetty is now a nominee in the same category for the National AUSTSWIM Awards, which are set to be held in early October on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. Royal Life Saving WA Senior Manager Swimming and Water Safety Education, Trent Hotchkin, says the award is well deserved recognition for a swim school that provides a quality program. “Aqua Jetty teaches the Royal Life Saving Swim and Survive program and the team works hard to ensure all instructors are up to date with the latest professional development. We’re pleased to see the fantastic job they do in providing these vital services for families in their local community, as they partner with us to prevent drowning.”
The swim school has also earned high praise from Rockingham Mayor Barry Sammels! “The Aqua Jetty Swim School caters to swimmers of all ages and teaches water safety awareness and swim technique development. It’s led by a group of highly skilled instructors who are passionate about water safety. The City congratulates the swim school on their hard-earned success and we look forward to supporting them as they bid to become the best in the country during the national awards later this year” he said.
