Ongoing supporter takes home cash prize

Our latest VIP Raffle Winner, Andy from Greenwood, recently paid a visit to the Royal Life Saving WA Head Quarters in Mount Claremont to collect his giant $10,000 cheque! 

The semi-retired Marine Geologist was in disbelief when he got the call that he had won our April VIP Raffle. When asked how he felt, Andy said “a bit numb, very surprised. It took 10 minutes to sink in.” 

“We’re planning a big Christmas holiday, and depending what’s left we might even go to England to visit family.”

Andy joined staff from across the organisation last Friday to indulge in some cake and coffee to congratulate him on his $10,000 cash prize and thank him for his ongoing support to the organisation. 

“It’s an incredible job you do. When I was a younger, I was a lifesaver in England, I’ve done a lot of swimming, I even got my Bronze Medallion. It’s an incredible service you do,” stated Andy when asked why he was a supporter of Royal Life Saving. 

Our Royalty VIP Club allows our supporters to assist us with ongoing monthly contributions while putting them in the draw to win some amazing prizes. Andy says he is happy to donate to our cause, knowing the money is going towards important work in drowning prevention.  

Without the generous support of donors such as Andy, Royal Life Saving would not be able to perform the valuable work of drowning prevention.
