Raffle win comes at right time for lucky VIP

Royal Life Saving WA's Royalty VIP Club is a program that allows supporters to assist us with ongoing monthly contributions, while also having the chance to win some fantastic prizes! Recently we made a loyal member's day, by drawing his lucky winning ticket number 72496 in a recent draw.

Nathan from Pearsall won the main prize of $10,000 cash. He faithfully supports Royal Life Saving, and although he signed up to our VIP Club, which conducts regular monthly raffles, he actually had no idea there were prizes up for grabs! “I was actually surprised that there was a raffle, I just donated monthly and wasn’t really aware there was a prize, so it was a pleasant surprise! When I got the call to say I’d won I actually Google searched to make sure it was all legit! Actually at the start of the call I thought he was going to ask me for money so I said I was busy!”

Nathan says for him the win has come at just the right time. “I’m currently out of work so it’s perfect timing really. I’m going to buy a car because my car is stuck in Victoria due to Covid!”

Royal Life Saving WA’s VIP Club raffles help to support our many swimming and water safety programs across Western Australia, ensuring everyone has an opportunity to learn these vital skills. Nathan says that’s the reason he was keen to become one of our VIP Club members. “I support Royal Life Saving because I always thought it was a good cause and I can’t actually swim myself so obviously we need to help people learn those skills.”
