Subiaco Community Pool set to make a splash for summer

20 November 2019

Subiaco Primary School’s Community Pool opens again for the summer this Friday. The pool is run as a partnership between the Subiaco Primary School P&C and Royal Life Saving WA to provide the local community with a safe place to enjoy a swim over the warmer months.

Last year there were more than 6000 entries to the pool and it was also used for 18 private parties which were supervised by our Lifeguards, swimming lessons, squad training and swimming carnivals. Royal Life Saving WA is proud to be able to assist with pool maintenance and lifeguard services.

The official opening for this summer happens with the annual Splash Dance Pool Party this Friday evening from 3.30 - 6pm and we’d love to see as many people as possible head along to enjoy the fun!

It’s fantastic to see this pool so actively used by not just the school itself, but also the local community. Royal Life Saving WA would love to partner with more schools across the metro area to provide pool maintenance, training and other services to help activate local school pools and turn them into social hubs!
