The Subiaco Primary School pool officially opened for another summer season last week, welcoming the community with a splash party and sausage sizzle.

Locals, primary school students and their families, and City of Subiaco council members all turned out for the free event, which also gave families new to the school a chance to check out the facilities.

Lifeguard supervising at Subiaco poolRoyal Life Saving WA’s lifeguard team was on hand to supervise the day, with the Workforce Solutions department providing and inducting qualified lifeguards to patrol the pool throughout the season.

In addition to lifeguarding, Royal Life Saving has also provided pool operation services to the P&C Committee since 2004, maintaining a high quality, clean and safe aquatic environment for pool patrons.

The funding support means the pool is not just available for school swimming lessons and carnivals, but it is also able to welcome the broader community through a season membership or ten visit pass.

Alison Harding, Royal Life Saving Business Manager Workforce Solutions, congratulated the Subiaco P&C for its ongoing commitment to ensure the pool is accessible for everyone.

“The Subiaco Primary School pool helps provide water access for the next generation of kids who will learn vital water safety skills they will have for life,” she said.

“Royal Life Saving appreciates this partnership and looks to a future with more smiling children, families and community members enjoying this wonderful facility.”

With such a dedicated team looking after the pool, the Subiaco community is set to enjoy a wonderful summer season of aquatic activity!
