Event safety staff get set to save lives
Royal Life Saving Society WA’s Workforce Solutions team works hard throughout the year to keep people safe at events across the community, including concerts, fairs, fun runs and a range of other private and public functions.
Each of our first aid personnel and logistics and operations co-ordinators have high level first aid and CPR skills, and we regularly conduct professional development sessions to ensure these skills are up to date and maintained to the highest possible standard.
Recently we conducted a session enabling these staff to update their Advanced Resuscitation qualifications, with 10 staff attending the session at our headquarters in Mount Claremont. Those who took part benefited from the experience of our first aid trainers, most of whom have backgrounds in medical and first aid services.
Royal Life Saving Society WA takes training and development of our first aid staff very seriously, as we recognize that thousands of lives are in their hands over the course of a year.
