National Aquatic Industry Safety Awards 2018

5 April 2018

Nominations are now open for the National Aquatic Industry Safety Awards for 2018. The awards, which were handed out for the first time last year,  recognise individuals, organisations and aquatic facilities professionals for their commitment to safety in their community.

The awards are offered across nine different categories, with nominations judge by the National Aquatic Industry Safety Committee, and winners announced in September.

Royal Life Saving Society WA encourages aquatic facilities and individuals to submit nominations for the awards, to recognise the people within WA's aquatic industry who dedicate their time to make their community safer.

Last year Seadragonz Swim School were the sole Western Australian winner of an award, receiving the  ‘Excellence in Aquatic Safety - Induction and Professional Development’ Award, for their initiative in providing a wide range of professional development opportunities for their staff to expand their skill set.

We look forward to seeing more WA facilities and individuals recognised as part of this year's awards!
