21 October 2019

A brand-new Royal Life Saving WA Endorsed Swim School opens today at Churchlands Senior High School. Churchlands Swim School aims to provide more opportunities for families in the area to enrol their children in high quality swimming and water safety lessons following the Royal Life Saving Swim and Survive curriculum.

Swim and Survive ensures that the essential components of personal survival and water safety are provided, in addition to a process of developing strong and effective swimming technique.

Churchlands Swim School Coordinator Emma Hart says she hopes to help those families who get involved in the program to understand just how important swimming is for all Western Australians! “Swimming is the only sport you can get your child involved in that could actually save their life! It truly is a life skill and I’m excited to see children develop their confidence in the water as they come along to their lessons each week.”

The Swim School will be jointly administered by Emma in partnership with Royal Life Saving WA, with enrolments taken online via the Royal Life Saving website. Offering a heated pool and easy parking the new swim school is bound to be popular with local families.

Lessons will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons between 3.30 – 5.45pm, and the first 40 enrolments will receive a free Swim & Survive pack valued at $45! To find out more about how your child can take part in lessons at Churchlands Swim School please click the link below.
