City abuzz for Royal Life Saving Day 2015

6 November 2015

If you were in the city or travelling by train this morning you would more than likely have seen one of our volunteers selling Royal Life Saving merchandise and collecting donations for Royal Life Saving Day. You may even have been lucky enough to get a hug from Dippy Duck!

Today we held our second annual Royal Life Saving Day to raise funds to support the victims of non-fatal drowning.

For every child that drowns each year in WA another 10 are hospitalized, four of whom suffer life-long injuries including brain damage.

We're determined to provide these children with the support they need to have the best quality of life possible.

As a not-for-profit organization we rely on the generous support of the public to continue our vital work, so we're thankful to all those who dropped some coins or notes in our Quackers collection ducks today!

We're also thankful to all our volunteers who gave up their time to shake a Quackers in the city and at train stations across the metro area.

If you didn't manage to catch any of our volunteers this morning but would still like to show your support you can head to our website to make a donation.
