Dippy Duck ready to hit the streets

12 October 2015

Dippy Duck's had a week off since his busy time at the Royal Show, but he's itching to get out in public again.

Our mascot was a huge hit at the Royal Show, with adults and children alike keen to give him a high five or hug or get a photo with the lovable duck.

Due to popular demand he's getting set to take to the streets again for our annual Royal Life Saving Day, which is happening on Friday 6th November.

It's our biggest fundraising event of the year and we'll be out and about in the city and at train stations across the metro area shaking our Quackers donation ducks and spreading the word about drowning prevention.

As a not-for-profit organisation we rely on public support to continue our work, so we'd love for you to drop some money in our Quackers when you see them on the day.

We also need some volunteers to join Dippy, and give some time for 2 or 3 hours in the morning on Friday 6th November to collect donations.

If you'd be keen to help please get in touch.
