Everyone can be a lifesaver

10 September 2015

Nominations are now open for the 2015 Royal Life Saving Western Power Bravery Awards.

Each year Royal Life Saving Society WA calls for members of the community to nominate those who've taken action to save another person's life.

Last year 16 heroic individuals and two organisations were honoured in a ceremony at the Government House Ballroom.

One of last year's recipients was Levi Brooks, who had, at just 5 years of age, bravely rescued a young Indonesian boy who fell into the pool at their villa in Bali.

One of the Royal Life Saving Society WA's motto is "Everyone Can Be A Lifesaver" and one of our major objectives is to ensure that all West Australians invest time into learning rescue, resuscitation and first aid skills.

If you know someone who has saved a life through their brave actions this year RLSSWA and Western Power would love to ensure they receive recognition.

Nominations close Tuesday 20th October 2015.
