As the peak summer season approaches 25 Pool Managers from across the Wheatbelt recently attended a one day requalification session at Bruce Rock. Two pool managers swimming each with another person being towed behind in a rescue tube

Royal Life Saving Society WA Trainer Eleanor Lee led the sessions and says “All the managers readily embraced the new changes, especially the updated technique for spinal board retraction of a patient from the water.”

Royal Life Saving Society WA is proud to be able to assist in ensuring all aquatic centres across Western Australia have well trained and qualified staff available, to create a safe environment for patrons to enjoy aquatic activity, and cool off - especially across the hot, dry Wheatbelt region - over the summer months.
