Become a Community Trainer

At Royal Life Saving WA, we believe that everyone can be a lifesaver. We want to increase the number of community trainers throughout WA to promote awareness about how to be safe in and around water and how to respond to an emergency. As a Community Trainer, your role is vital in ensuring we reach both metropolitan and regional areas including our at risk communities.

 

Who is a Royal Life Saving WA Community Trainer?

A community trainer is a qualified and independent figure who delivers programs and training courses on behalf of Royal Life Saving Society.

 

As a Royal Life Saving WA Community Trainer you could deliver the following courses:

  • Aquatic Rescue for Hydrotherapy
  • Aquatic Rescue for Group 3 Pools
  • Aquatic Rescue for Playleaders
  • Bronze Star
  • Bronze Medallion
  • Bronze Cross
  • Heart Beat Club
  • Resuscitation*
  • Aqua skills 55+
  • Heart Beat 45
  • Water Safety talks

*Please note the Resuscitation award is a community course only, not an accredited course
