First Aid Trainer Requalification

This form will allow you to submit your requalification for 2018/2019 as First Aid Trainer. Prior to completing the form please download and review The Third Party Agreement. This agreement outlines the responsibilities of an organisation that delivers and assesses a unit of competence and will need to be followed throughout the 2018/2019 financial year.

Please read carefully the new Third Party Agreement. Save a copy for your records and complete, sign and submit page 13-14 only.

Current Industry Skills and Knowledge

First Aid Trainers a required to have completed a minimum of 8 hours work within the industry in the past 12 months to maintain currency (e.g. event safety, first aid officer for your organisation, first aid officer for sporting events).

Professional Development

First Aid Trainers are required to complete 2 Professional Development sessions and 1 VET Session* (mandatory for all the First Aid Trainers) Please note requirements for the next financial year have been reviewed as per Third Party Agreement.

Payment details

The fee to requalify your First Aid Trainer is $680.00. Please provide your payment details below. You will receive an invoice that can be paid by credit card, cheque or EFT. Once payment has been made your award will be emailed.

How to obtain your trainer qualification:

1. Make sure you have completed the required professional development sessions The VET session is mandatory for First Aid Trainers.

2. Download, review, complete and submit page 13-14 of the Third Party Agreement.

3. Complete the form with your most up to date details.

4. Provide details on Professional Development sessions you have completed/attended.

5. Provide details on the industry work you have completed over the last 12 months.

6. Provide payment details.

7. Upload your current Working With Children Check

8. Submit.

9. We will check our records to confirm you have met all requirements (hold valid qualifications, hold a valid WWCC and completed professional development). You will be contacted if requirements have not been met.

10. You will receive your trainer award on the 1st of July 2018
