Course Delivery

Please provide information about the delivery of your training courses.

Third Party Agreement

Please read carefully the new Third Party Agreement. Save a copy for your records and complete, sign and submit page 13-14 only.

Vocational competency

Pool Lifeguard and Pool Operations Trainers and First Aid Trainers are required to have completed a minimum of 8 hours work within the industry in the past 12 months to maintain Vocational competency. Please download the Vocational Competency Form at the top of this page, complete it with your most current information and upload it here

Professional Development

Pool Lifeguard and Pool Operations and First Aid Trainers are required to complete a minimum number of face-to-face and/or online Professional Development sessions, as per Third Party Agreement. Upload Certificates of completion below. The VET Session is mandatory if you havent attended the RLSSWA Trainer Seminar in January 2020. Visit the E-learning Portal to complete online PD sessions. Upload Certificates of completion below.

Payment details

Trainers who are going to deliver Community courses will be issued with an invoice of $250 + GST to cover the Community Trainer requalification fee. Invoice will be issued in January 2021

How to obtain your trainer qualification:

1. Make sure you have completed the required professional development sessions The VET session is mandatory for First Aid and Pool Lifeguard Trainers.

2. Download, review, complete and submit page 13-14 of the Third Party Agreement.

3. Complete the form with your most up to date details.

4. Provide details on Professional Development sessions you have completed/attended.

5. Provide details on the industry work you have completed over the last 12 months using the Vocational Competency Form.

6. Upload your current Working With Children Check

7. Submit.

8. We will check our records to confirm you have met all requirements (hold valid qualifications, hold a valid WWCC and completed professional development). You will be contacted if requirements have not been met.

9. You will receive your trainer award within 10 working days from submission. 

10. Invoice will be issued in January 2021
