Spreading the Don’t Drink and Drown message in a school environment is vital if we want to make an impact on our youth. Don’t Drink and Drown participates in a number of school events throughout the year, as well as providing free alcohol and water safety presentations for year 10-11s and Year 12 specific Leavers talks.
These talks contain information regarding:
  • General alcohol information
  • Safe drinking practices — how to reduce the risk of alcohol related harm
  • Alcohol and water safety
  • What to do in an emergency situation
  • Planning for Leavers — what to do
  • What to expect during Leavers celebrations
  • Leavers and the Law
  • Tips on how to stay safe while celebrating
  • What’s on — what services are available during Leavers
These talks provide valuable information to students that not only give them an insight on the Leavers week but provide them with information that could potentially save a life. Presentations and participating at your school event is free of charge and is available to all high schools in the Perth Metro region.
