Professional development presentations

Presentations are available for professional staff such as child and community health nurses, health promotion officers and others with a role to play in promoting child safety. They aim to equip staff with the information and resources to discuss and promote drowning prevention with the parents they work with. Sessions run for 30 minutes and cover:

  • Drowning statistics
  • How and why toddlers drown
  • Keep Watch program messages
  • Available resources
  • How we can support you to promote water safety to your community

All participants receive a resource pack at the end of the presentation which contains further information about home water safety, Keep Watch and the Royal Life Saving Society WA.
