This year the Pilbara Aquatic Festival will be running from Wednesday 13th November to Thursday 14th November 2019.

Royal Life Saving Society WA Cultural Awareness Training

The training focuses on different cultures in our society and what it means to be culturally aware by addressing key barriers in the industry, conducting a variety of scenarios and group activities.

Pilbara Spirit Swimming & Lifesaving Carnival

The Pilbara Spirit Swimming & Lifesaving Carnival invites school students in Year's 5 and 6 to participate in swimming and pool lifesaving events, with the emphasis on fun whilst developing swimming and water safety skills and knowledge.

This carnival gives the Aboriginal children in the Pilbara and Kimberly area an opportunity to participate in a carnival that builds on the success of the Swim for Fruit Program and gives the children additional opportunity to practice their lifesaving skills in a fun and engaging environment.

When: Thursday, 14th November 2019 (9.30am-12.30) - morning tea and lunch will be provided 

Where: South Hedland Aquatic Centre

Travel: We understand that many schools will have to travel great distances to participate in the carnival.  Please contact Emily Casarsa (08) 9383 8200 to discuss accommodation options and reimbursement for travel expenses.

Community BBQ

Royal Life Saving Society WA invites all Port Hedland and visiting community members to come a long for a BBQ to experience all that the South Hedland Aquatic centre has to offer.
