Q: When are the Women's Only Swim and Survive lessons held?

A: The Women's Only Swim and Survive programs are held during each school term, during school hours.

Q: How long do the Women's Only Swim and Survive lessons go for?

A: Classes go for an hour, once a week for 8 weeks.

Q: Where are the Women's Only Swim and Survive lessons held?

A: The Women's Only Swim and Survive programs are run at three locations across Perth:

  • Leisurepark Balga (Princess Road)
  • Cannington Leisureplex (Wharf Street and Seven Oaks Street)
  • The Swim School Wangara (Automotive Drive)

Q: What time and what day are the lessons?

A: 

  • Leisurepark Balga classes are every Tuesday at 11:30 - 12:30pm or 12:30 - 1:30pm
  • Cannington Leisureplex classes are every Tuesday at 12 - 1pm or 1 - 2pm
  • The Swim School Wangara classes are every Tuesday at 12 - 1pm or 1 - 2pm

Q: How much does it cost for the of Swim and Survive lessons?

A: It costs $50 for the 8 week term. You do not need to pay entry, just need let reception know you are here for the RLSSWA Women's Only Swim and Survive Lessons. Please note there are no refunds if you are no longer able to attend.

Q: How do I register for the  Women's Only Swim and Survive classes?

A: Registrations must be done fully online via the RLSSWA website.

Q: Is crèche available?  Do I have to pay more for crèche?

A: Crèche is only available at Cannington Leisureplex. Crèche facilities are not available at The Swim School Wangara or Leisurepark Balga. Creche is free, there is no extra fee! If you need the crèche you will need to fill out another form and provide this to the centre.

Q: Are the pools public or private?

A: Cannington Leisureplex and Leisurepark Balga are public facilities. The classes are strictly women's only with female instructors however, the facility is open to the general public. The Swim School Wangara is a smaller private purpose built facility. During the women's only swimming lessons it is strictly women only in the facility. The door will be closed and blinds pulled down so no member of the public can see the classes.

Q: What if I can't make a lesson?

A: No worries at all! We will see you next week. If you are unable to finish the term please call RLSSWA on 9383 8200 and speak to Jen Mickle or Emily Balcombe so we can notify the swimming instructors. Please note there are no refunds.
