Be River Ready these holidays!

What better way to spend your school holidays than having some fun in your local river? The Multicultural Swim & Survive River Ready program will provide intermediate swimmers the required skills to learn swimming and water safety knowledge in an inland waterway environment.

Participants will learn vital Swim & Survive rescue skills, CPR and First Aid skills and have fun! Participants will receive a certificate at the end of the program.

When and Where?

Monday, 15th April – Thursday 18th April 2019

9am – 9.45am (Level 5 & 6)

10am – 10.45am (Level 7 & 8)

11am – 11.45am (Level 9, 10 & 11) 

Within the City of Canning at Kent Street Weir, Kent Street, Wilson.

Special Requirements: Participants must be aged between 10-17 years and must be intermediate swimmers (Level 5-11).

At a low cost of just $20.00 per person, each participant will receive a Swim & Survive pack (including a towel, goggles and cap) and lunch on the last day of the program.

Royal Life Saving WA will also be running a FREE Heart Beat Club first aid and CPR course for parents / caregivers of children on Friday, 12th April 2019 at Cannington Leisureplex at 10am – 1pm.
