Harry Gouge has been an asset to the Talent Pool program since he joined in late January 2023.
After completing both his Pool Lifeguard and First Aid qualifications, Harry wasted no time getting stuck into becoming a Pool Lifeguard at the Goldfields Oasis in Kalgoorlie.
In his short time in the program, Harry has shown qualities of being a natural born leader.
Harry is committed to ensuring the PCYC kids he assists as part of the Community Rescue Club are engaged and always having fun, which is easy for Harry when he feels the same way.
He is extremely passionate about helping the kids that come along to various events including the Goldfields Spirit Carnival and school excursions to Burra Rock.
At only 16 years old, Harry already has a plan for himself with the hopes of studying primary school teaching when he graduates at the end of next year, as well as undertaking a Pool Operations course to become fully qualified in the industry, guaranteeing Harry employment when he moves to Perth.
Harry is extremely talented and sociable, making him the perfect choice to play a senior role in the Talent Pool team.
When Harry isn't at Talent Pool events, you can find him hanging out with his friends (many of whom he has encouraged to join Talent Pool) or playing AFL for the Mines Rovers.
Be sure to look for Harry and say hi if you'll be at R U OK? Day in Kalgoorlie, an upcoming PCYC event, Laverton Spirit Carnival or the East Kalgoorlie Primary end of year camp!
