Qualifications and professional development

All documents, qualifications and statements of attainment are required to be submitted and reviewed by RLSSWA prior to the commencement of the auspice agreement date.

Each calendar year industry currency and any new or updated qualifications are to be providing to RLSSWA for review prior to commencement of the auspice agreement date.

Qualification Requirements

Trainers/assessors

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or TAE40116), Diploma or higher in Adult Education
  • Vocational competencies at least to the level being assessed - Certificate II in Sport and Recreation or equivalent OR resume mapped to units of competence
  • Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided
  • Current knowledge and skills in vocational training that informs their training and assessment
