This training course has been designed to the meet the patron rescue requirements of the Code of Practice for the Design, Construction, Operation, Management and Maintenance of Aquatic Facilities in Western Australia.

This course is suited for physiotherapists and/or people working in the rehabilitation industry and will provide participants with skills and knowledge that meet the needs of the rehabilitation industry by training personnel in the specific physical and environmental aspects of day-to day workplace and recreational activity operation.

This course has been designed by Royal Life Saving Society WA, Surf Lifesaving WA and Education Department. It will provide participants with skills and knowledge of aquatic safety, rescue and survival skill techniques for supervising students participating in activities both in and around various closed and open aquatic environments.
