Volunteer at Leavers

group of Leavers Volunteers at the Meelup BeachFest

We are seeking a dedicated team of enthusiastic volunteers to assist with Youth Water Safety Program activities during WA Leavers Week in Dunsborough, taking place late November!

If you are:

  • studying a health course;
  • motivated and enthusiastic; and
  • looking for work experience,

this is for you!

Volunteers will work on the Be a Mermate campaign and be responsible for assisting with the delivery of drowning prevention messages, facilitating diversionary activities, and helping run Meelup BeachFest – a large-scale alcohol- and drug-free beach party during Leavers week.

All food, travel, and accommodation costs will be covered by Royal Life Saving WA. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on skills and practical experience in health promotion, coordinating activities and delivering Youth Water Safety messages in Dunsborough and Busselton.

In addition to being a fun opportunity, you will gain valuable leadership experience and knowledge that will be beneficial to future endeavours.

To apply, please complete the form below. Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview.
