At Royal Life Saving WA we are passionate about preventing drowning, while promoting safe enjoyment of the wonderful aquatic activities and lifestyle we have here in Western Australia. But we need your help and support!
Royal Life Saving WA is a member-based organisation. Membership is open to anyone who wishes to further the interests of Royal Life Saving WA and who agrees with our aims and objectives.
Did you know...
That you are a member of Royal Life Saving Society WA, if in the past 12 months, you have:
- Volunteered for Royal Life Saving
- Completed one of our training or first aid courses
- Supported our fundraising programs through a donation or buying a raffle ticket, OR
- Participated in one of our sports competitions or events
Business organisations who support our fundraising work in the community are also members.
Royal Life Saving WA's fundraising programs not only enable us to deliver vital community education and drowning prevention programs, but also to provide financial support for families dealing with long term injuries caused by non-fatal drowning incidents through our Community Help Grants.
Your support makes a difference!
For every child that drowns in WA another eight are hospitalised following a non-fatal drowning incident, with up to four of these suffering serious life-long health implications including brain damage.
