All of Royal Life Saving Society WA’s programs and services are underpinned by quality research. Research enables Royal Life Saving to monitor drowning and injury trends to identify high-risk groups, activities and locations affecting all Western Australian communities, and guides the continual development and improvement of our programs and services.

Our research includes:
  • Annual analyses of WA drowning data
  • Key water safety issues research projects
  • Annual assessment of the Aquatic Industry
  • Development of fact sheets for public use

Royal Life Saving WA research has been presented at National and International conferences to experts in the fields of Public Health and Drowning Prevention.
