Duck Pluck Raffle winner taken by surprise

It was an extra special Australia Day for a lucky Royal Life Saving WA raffle supporter last month, when she received a phone call to say she'd won our Australia Day Duck Pluck Raffle!

Katrina from Kinross purchased her winning ticket number 4670 when she saw a raffle book on the counter of her local sports store while buying shoes for her son. She never expected that she'd be the lucky winner of the $20,000 first prize!

Katrina brought her sons into the Royal Life Saving headquarters in Mount Claremont to meet the staff and collect her giant duck cheque, saying she would be spending the money on their home, her children's education and a holiday.
