17 February 2016

Royal Life Saving Society WA staff member Stephanie Enkle has been nominated for a WA Young Achiever Award for her ongoing work in the public health field.

Stephanie has been volunteering with our Don’t Drink and Drown program since 2011 and recently came on staff in our Community Health department working on methods to reduce injuries and fatalities associated with unsafe aquatic activities.

She also works for the University of Western Australia, as a Research Assistant, looking into ways to improve physical activity among pre-schoolers.

In the past Stephanie has worked for the WA Cancer Council, Telethon Kids Institute, Playgroup WA, and she traveled to India in 2013 to work with a local NGO.

We wish Stephanie all the best for the awards, with the winners announced on the 13th May.
