Pool lifeguard development sessions

Royal Life Saving WA is running its second series of Development Sessions, for those who want to further develop their skills in rescue, accident prevention and emergency care.

All athletes who are already training with clubs are welcome to attend, as we're looking for interested athletes to trial for our State team. Age groups include Under 14s, Under 16s, Under 19s and Open, with expressions of interest being taken now for those wanting to compete in January 2016.

The development sessions will have RLSSWA coaches on hand to introduce new skills to individuals and further develop those who already participate in Pool Lifesaving.

This weekend's events will include: Manikin Carry, Manikin Tow, Line Throw, Obstacle Swim and a Simulated Emergency Response Competition.

Events are happening over the next three weekends at lane 8 of the outdoor pool at HBF Stadium.

  • Sunday 15th November 2pm - 4pm
  • Sunday 22nd November 2pm - 4pm
  • Sunday 29th November 2pm - 4pm
