The Open Day not only focuses on attracting new enrolments to the swim school by providing a free swimming assessment, but many swim schools also choose to invite existing swim school participants. This combined approach ensures the Open Day is as much a celebration at the swim school for existing clients as it is a day to encourage the broader public to visit your centre and join in the day’s activities.

As per recent years, each centre/swim school is encouraged to host a number of different attractions to entice the public. This could include getting the pool inflatable out, having a barbecue, conducting pool demonstrations, fun games/activities etc.

It’s a perfect opportunity to encourage enrolments for Term 4 at your swim school and provide a thank you for current participants.

Marketing and resources for the Open Day are supplied for FREE! Your only cost is to ensure you have adequate staff for the day.

Royal Life Saving WA invests a substantial amount each year to supply and coordinate the following for each participating Swim School:

  • Digital marketing campaign via Royal Life Saving WA's social media channels
  • Print editorial – media releases sent to local community newspapers
  • Digital Posters – Digital files supplied to each venue to promote the day via their social media, website & in-venue screens.
  • Signage – corflute ‘free assessment’ signage available upon request
  • Website – articles and web banners on the Royal Life Saving WA website
  • Promotional giveaways

Remember: the above will need your Swim School's support to compliment the marketing campaign and ensure a successful day! We look forward to supporting you for another great event this year.
