Who is a Community Trainer?

Royal Life Savings Community Trainers are qualified people that deliver a number of Aquatic and First Aid training courses within the community throughout Western Australia.

Why become a Community Trainer?

Royal Life Saving WA believe that everyone can be a lifesaver. We want to increase the number of community trainers throughout WA to promote awareness on how to be safe in and around water and how to respond to an emergency. As a Community Trainer your role is vital in ensuring we reach both metropolitan and regional areas including our at risk communities.

How do you become a qualified Community Trainer?

There are pre-requisites for each of the Instructor courses in both Aquatic and First Aid. It is a requirement for all our trainers to hold the award/unit that they are delivering before attending either of these courses.
