Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons are an integral part of a child's education. Living in WA means it is important to have the correct skills to be safe when on, in or around the water. With the amount of swimming lesson providers increasing all the times, it can be hard to find the best one to suit your needs.

Throughout WA there are 138 swim schools endorsed by Royal Life Saving WA providing the best in aquatic education. These Endorsed Swim Schools use our carefully designed programs to provide swimming lessons for every life stage, from infants to adults and everything in between.

Our programs have been developed using the combined knowledge of several industry partners, including many swim school supervisors/coordinators and employees who teach swimming lessons day in day out.

The Royal Life Saving WA programs include:

Infant Aquatics

Infant Aquatics:

Our Infant Aquatics program encourages individual progression in aquatic skills suitable to the child's developmental stage. The Infant Aquatic swimming lessons are taught with the child dependent on the parent or carer in the water. Parents are an integral part of their child's aquatic education by providing guidance and support through activities that enable the development of water familiarisation, exploration, and water safety skills.
