Accreditation and Licence
Swim Teacher by Royal Life Saving is recognised by the following organisations:
- National Sport & Recreation Industry Training package
- National Aquatic Industry Safety Committee
- Western Australian Department of Education
- Western Australian Department of Health (as an approved qualification of Swimming and Water Safety instruction)
- Western Australian Department of Training and Workforce Development
- Western Australian Endorsed Swim School Committee
What is a Swim Teacher Licence?
Upon successful completion of the Swim Teacher by Royal Life Saving course and practical hours, in conjunction with having a current Working With Children check and CPR certificate, students will be issued a Swim Teacher award certificate and licence to conduct swimming and water safety classes in Australia.
