Pool Lifeguard Challenge

Pool Lifeguards performing CPR, swimming and walking with rescue tubes
The Pool Lifeguard Challenge is a competition run annually by Royal Life Saving Society WA and LIWA Aquatics, with the aim of testing teams of professional lifeguards. Teams of four lifeguards are entered by aquatic centres throughout Western Australia to participate.

The event provides pool lifeguards with an opportunity to practice essential life saving skills under the guidance of professional industry examiners. In addition, the skills learned through participating in the Pool Lifeguard Challenge greatly assist lifeguards to create safer aquatic centres throughout Western Australia.
