“Volunteering with Royal Life Saving WA is always a fun experience – you’re part of a tight knit team where everyone looks out for each other, and I’ve made and strengthened many friendships with other team members over the years.
"Interacting with all the leavers has greatly improved my confidence to deliver Health Promotion programs, and it is a great hands-on volunteering experience that you would definitely not want to miss out on! Not to mention you also get to stay right next to the beach all week!”
- Nic, 2023 & 2024 Leavers Volunteer
“The team was incredibly welcoming and supportive, creating a positive and inclusive environment. As a health promotion student, gaining relevant work experience can be challenging, but this program provided invaluable opportunity across multiple different areas.
I wholeheartedly recommend volunteering with Royal Life Saving WA, particularly during Leavers Week, for anyone seeking a rewarding and enriching opportunity. I will, without hesitation be returning to the volunteer program for years to come.”
- Matilda, 2024 Leavers Volunteer
